Are you in need of a inexpensive windsock pole for your windsocks? Purchase from a hardware store a ½" by 10 foot piece of pvc pipe or galvanized electrical conduit pipe (usually under $10.00) and insert this conduit arm into the end of the pipe. PVC pipe or conduit fits into most flag brackets, pipe holders, which in turn can be attached to a fence post, deck railing or pushed into soft ground. You can shorten the pipe simply by cutting it with any saw. Glue in conduit arm for added strength.
