Big enough for real-kite performance, small enough to pack in a suitcase, the Nexus is an adrenaline-filled intro to sport kiting and we know it’ll get you hooked. Simple, rugged and affordable, the Nexus flies with the ease and control of a larger kite, with all the details that have made Prism the world’s leader in sport kite design.

The Nexus features a composite carbon/glass frame for instant response and great light-wind performance. The three-point Turbo Bridle offers easy adjustment for a wide range of wind: just tilt the nose forward for lighter winds or back for strong winds. Our Turbo Bridle comes with built in limiters so you’ll never overtune your kite out of flying range. Speedier and sportier than a full-size kite, the Nexus will still get you started on a range of stunts and introduce you to the world of trick flying.

Comes complete with low-stretch Spectra lines, winder, flight straps and a handy travel case that’s small enough to bring every time you head for the outdoors. Folds down to 25.5" length.

Don't forget to add a genuine Prism ground stake for easy launching.

  • Carbon frame flies easily in lighter winds
  • Fast and quick-turning for extra excitement in stronger winds
  • Kevlar-reinforced nose and flexible fiberglass spine absorb the shock of unplanned landings
  • Solid pull provides extra feedback for new pilots
  • Compact, take-it-anywhere package includes Spectra lines, winder, flight straps, and travel case

    Great beginner's kite

Posted by Jennifer on 18th Oct 2014

A tough kite! I'm just getting the hang of handling a dual line stunt kite, and it has stood up very well to crashes. Packs down to nothing in its bag and is very easy to assemble on site, yet is small enough to transport full assembled (if you should wish) in the cab of a truck. A fabulous kite for a beginner.

    Takes a beating!

Is this kite actually indestructable? I can't believe the crashes it has endured. I'm having a blast. Thanks!

    Prompt Service

Posted by Marg on 18th Aug 2010

Hi Bud Thanks for such prompt service. My kite arrived within 3 days of ordering and thanks for the kite magazine. What a great kite. The entire family is out flying the Nexus every chance we get. It sure does take a beating. We are buying two more kites next week so we can all fly at the same time. What a wonderful time my family is having with the kite, it has brought us all together.

    Nexus supreme

Posted by Greg MacDonald on 14th Jul 2010

I love this kite! My wife gave me the Prism Nexus stunt kite for my birthday back in April 2010. The kids and I have been playing with it nearly every chance we can. This kite has taken a beating and I mean a real beating. The kids love it because it they can actually do something with the kite. I love the interaction with we have with the Nexus, it spins and loops, and dives and even stalls. Chasing the tail and writing your name in the sky is a fun game to play with the kids. I need to get another one for me now. Thanks Kite Guys
