The Yukon is one of the most advanced entry level to intermediate sport kites available. The deep sail of the Yukon ensures a slow, precise and stable flight within an awesome wind range.
An excellent feedback is coming up to meet the needs of beginners in order to support and accelerate the learning process.
Solid and nearly indestructible frame made of carbon fibre and fibreglass hybrid technology (lower spreader: carbon tubes 5mm).
A clever bridle design ensures a stable flight at higher wind speeds. That way the Yukon handles even the most extreme conditions with ease.
Beginners and advanced pilots will be surprised at its high level of trickability.
The Yukon comes complete with lines and straps and DVD. This kite offers incredible value at a very competitive price.

I am a rank beginner with sport kites. Some friends lent me one and after a couple of hours I was hooked. I started to do some research and decided upon the HQ Yukon for my first kite. The Yukon is promoted as being able to withstand the many times a rookie will crash, and that it has. The kite is well built, easy to assemble, and above all, tough. I chose the Fire colour option and the orange and yellow flames on black look great, especially when backlit by the sun. As I say, I am a beginner and really cannot judge the stunt flying ability of this kite. I am happy with the way it performs basic moves and the feedback is good. Considering that it comes with a decent line set, I feel it is well worth the money. A couple of small quibbles. The Yukon is rated to fly in 6 km/h winds but I find it takes at least twice that for someone of my limited skills to keep it aloft. Also I was a little disappointed with the contents of the packaged DVD. I was hoping for some lessons, but it is merely a video that I had already seen online. All in all though I am happy with my HQ Yukon.
